Dear Parishioners of the Northwest Seattle Catholic Parish Family,
On this joyful Easter Sunday, I extend my heartfelt greetings to each of you—our parishioners from Sacred Heart of Jesus, Our Lady of Fatima, and St. Anne, along with all who worship with us. Today we proclaim the central truth of our faith: Jesus Christ has conquered sin and death, and through Him new life is given to the world.
Easter reminds us that hope is never in short supply for those who trust in the Lord. The empty tomb tells us that even when we experience uncertainty, division, or hardship, God is at work bringing renewal. As a parish family, we are living that Easter reality. The Lord is gently forming us into one community, deepening our relationships, and calling us forward in mission.
This day also invites us to personal renewal. The risen Jesus meets His disciples not when they are perfect, but when they are searching, doubting, and learning to believe. He meets us in the same way. Wherever you find yourself today—full of joy, carrying burdens, or simply seeking peace—know that the risen Lord walks with you and calls you by name.
Thank you for the many ways you share your faith: through prayer, service, generosity, and your presence at Mass. Your witness brings the light of Christ to Northwest Seattle. May this Easter season fill our homes with joy, strengthen our unity, and renew our commitment to know, love, and serve the Lord together.
In Christ,
Fr. Freitag, Pastor
