Annointing of the Sick
Anointing of the sick offers the comfort of God’s grace in illness or in situations where someone may be close to death. It provides spiritual and sometimes physical healing and strengthening, and helps someone join their sufferings to Christ and even prepare them for death.
For a sacramental emergency (anointing of the sick), call the parish office and wait for the prompt. An on-call clergy member monitors this line outside of office hours.
To schedule an anointing when it is not an emergency (before a surgery or because of chronic illness etc.) please call or email the parish office. We highly encourage anyone who is struggling with a serious illness of mind, body, or spirit, or who is anticipating surgery, to call to set up a time to be anointed.
