The sacrament of baptism is the foundation of a Catholic’s sacramental life and is the first sacrament of initiation into the Catholic Church. Baptism is available to all ages, from infants to adults. We offer baptism classes for parents and godparents seeking baptism for a child, as well as more comprehensive classes for adults seeking baptism for themselves.

Baptism for Infants and Children under the age of 7

Baptism is a beautiful sacrament through which God brings humanity closer to Himself by cleansing each person of his or her sin. We at Northwest Seattle Catholic are happy to help each family and individual in their relationship with God by walking with you through this process. We recommend that families begin this process 3 months before the child is born.
